Old Fashioned Full Movie - I went in quite skeptical, but left deeply touched by the story and the stunning cinematography. The movie takes time to develop its characters and to create true art. The interplay between the soundtrack and the actors is reminiscent of the independent film "Once". The movie contains religious elements without being predictable or preachy. The film's intelligent commentary on modernity removes it from the category of vapid chick flick. It appeals to a wide audience in terms of world view, age, and gender because of its honest look at the dangers of moral relativism and religious fanaticism. The film has a refreshing realism about it because of the actors' dialogue and looks. The two main characters' depth of life experience make them easy to relate to regardless of one's world view or past.
